Aromatic cola chicken wings

Cola chicken wings is a popular chicken dish in China that’s prepared with chicken and fizzy cola as the main ingredients.

Ingredients

500 g chicken wings
Oil
1 can of cola
10 g ginger
20 g cooking wine
10 g salt
5 g black pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Blanch the 500 g of chicken wings.

  • Step 2

    Pour some oil into a pan and brown the chicken wings.

  • Step 3

    Add the remaining ingredients to the pan with the cola and simmer until the cola has almost evaporated

I made this dish a lot when I was studying in Germany. It reminds me of an unforgettable time and I really like it because you can just use cola instead of soy sauce.
